Taegeuk Il Jang and Taegeuk Yi (E) Jang Forms

Our course will focus on two beginning Korean Forms: Taegeuk Il Jang & Taegeuk (Yi) E Jang.

Consecutive parts of this course will go over:

1. Basic Techniques later on incorporated into the forms

2. Taegeuk Il Jang with moves explained step by step in both: mirror image and facing the same directions, as well as "By Count."

3. Taegeuk Yi Jang with moves explained step by step in both: mirror image and facing the same directions, as well as "By Count."

4. BONUS #1: a Video explaining Taegeuk Il Jang Chart

5. BONUS #2: a pdf file including all steps of Taegeuk Il Jang Form

Master Luiza Raab-Pontecorvo

Master Luiza Raab-Pontecorvo: 4th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do & 2nd degree Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu is also a Certified Instructor of Skillz Dynamic Martial Arts Training. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Musical Arts. On top of instructing Martial Arts for the past 15 years at Atomic Tae Kwon Do in Huntington, NY, she has also been on the faculty at Stony Brook, Hofstra and Adelphi Universities and has been touring Internationally giving Lectures and Concerts in major places such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and on Broadway. She is an author of essays and articles dealing with subjects such as: Affect of music on development of human brain; Utilizing Philosophy of Martial Arts in everyday life, etc… Her essay about the influence of Tae Kwon Do on her own life won the 2009 Participation Award at Tae Kwon Do Essay Contest organized by the Korean Embassy in the United States, and was published in both Korean and English languages. She is a numerous Winner of Tae Kwon Tournaments such as Governor's Cup in NY and US Open.
